Obviously, McCree’s ult can’t be a global engagement stun that creates a realm of “the Duel” where the playing field is evened out and the enemy has to do a series of buttons to get out of the duel alive LOL. This is how McCree ult feels to me, I press Q and functional players laugh over my dead body screaming, “you should have shot me, but you were too busy talking.”Īnyways, it feels bad to have a 20% chance you get a brain dead team who all die and a 20% chance to get nothing (but at least zone), and a 60% chance you die before you finish the line, “it’s high noon.” Don’t get me wrong other DPS ults have the same percents, but most of them do damage even if they “get nothing”.īUT, if McCree’s ult is supposed to be this grand duel on Main Street, then it’s still wrong because in that duel both/all parties stand there doing nothing in anticipation of getting the perfect shot. “When you have to shoot, shoot, don’t talk.”

There is a great movie quote from one of the greatest Westerns, “The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly” where “The Ugly” is about to get shot, and his pursuer goes on a revenge rant, so “The Ugly” shoots him and quickly says, I love McCree, but for a cowboy, his ult is not an exciting duel on Main Street, it’s a death sentence.
