Please let the person in charge of the computers know about this. In this instance, they will see a message when they click the Join Scratch button on the navigation bar. Sometimes, an IP address may be blocked from creating new accounts. Users normally receive alerts before getting banned, but they may not receive any alerts prior to being banned in the case of severe violation of the Community Guidelines. This means that an entire network is forbidden from accessing the website (as well as the forums) and cannot be used to create accounts. In some cases (such as users creating multiple accounts to get around bans), the Scratch Team may decide to ban them based on their IP address. This means that the banned user is forbidden from accessing any part of the site when logged in, including the forums (besides the Community Guidelines, the Terms of Use, the Privacy Policy and the Statistics page). On the website, when a user is banned, the ban applies to the entire site.

The upper floor is an enclosed circular room emulating Cheater Island and its scenery. The Jailbreak Ban Jail consists of two floors: the upper floor is an enclosed circular room emulating the Cheater Island and its scenery, while the lower one is an upscaled version of a prison cell.

It is not located in the normal Jailbreak map but separately in a private experience named Jailbreak Ban Jail, owned by Badimo, to which banned players are redirected upon attempting to join Jailbreak when banned. The Jailbreak Ban Jail is inaccessible to regular players and can only be accessed by those banned from playing Jailbreak.
